As someone passionate about natural and sustainable beauty, I'm always looking for clean products that are also effective. I thought I'd share a few of my current favorites:
Skincare Essentials
Fierce Nature Organic Tallow
I discovered this female-owned brand on Healf.com. Ever since hearing about beef tallow on social media, I wanted to try it. Tallow is rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, as well as collagen, and it is said to have anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties. It feels good to be using something non-toxic on my skin.
The Nue Co. Cleanser
I popped into SpaceNK because I was running low on face wash and wanted to find a clean brand. That's when I stumbled upon the Nue Co. I love how gentle this cleanser feels on my skin. Its unique formula includes apple amino acids, which remove dirt without disrupting the skin's natural pH balance.
Wild Deodorant
I'm always on the hunt for natural deodorants that work, and after my Salt & Stone deodorant ran out, I decided to try another brand I'd seen called Wild. I love that they're not only focused on natural ingredients but sustainable packaging as well. You won't find any single-use packaging; you can refill your cases again and again with their bamboo pulp refills. (Bonus: If you order on the website, you can personalize the case).
My Makeup Trio
It's safe to say that I might be obsessed with Merit Beauty. I've simplified my everyday makeup routine significantly with these three clean beauty products I'm about to share.
Merit Beauty: The Minimalist
First up is their complexion stick. We all want to look our best when we step out of the house, whether it's at the gym or a work meeting, but sometimes your face just needs a break. Enter The Minimalist. I wear this every day, and I never feel like I'm wearing foundation, and I don't need concealer or setting powder.
Merit Beauty: Solo Shadow
Some people treat eyeshadow like it's a work of art. I, however, have never been one to dedicate too much time to it unless I'm going somewhere special or I'm having my makeup done for an event. The Solo Shadow is a cream-to-powder shadow that adds just the right amount of color and warmth, and my favorite part? It's not complicated.
Merit Beauty: Shade Slick
If you're like me, you need lipgloss or lipstick in every purse. I'm a huge fan of the SUMMER FRIDAYS dream lip oil, and I feel the same way about this tinted lip oil from Merit Beauty. It keeps my lips moisturized, and the color selections are timeless. I love the shade in Marrakech, and I'm excited to try more.
Hair Oils
This next brand offers a range of organic, vegan, cruelty-free products that I've been using for a few months, and I only have good things to say.
Fushi: Really Good Hair Oil
I've mentioned before that I use REHAB hair oil capsules, and I love them for a daily refresh, but when my hair needs a deep moisturizing treatment, I love that Really Good Hair Oil is packed with nutrient-dense, fresh-pressed oils like Argon, Avocado, Coconut, Sesame, and Neem.
I hope you found this list helpful! I know how difficult it is to find quality products. It can be overwhelming to navigate through the endless choices available, which is why I curated this list to make your search easier.
